How to Use Dog E-Collar

1. Charge the Remote and Receiver Collar

  • Plug in and fully charge both the remote and receiver collar before first use.
  • Initial charge: 4 hours.
  • Subsequent charges: 2–3 hours.
  • When fully charged, the LED indicator will change to green.
  • Replace the rubber cover on the receiver’s charging port after charging.

⚠ Tips:

  • Avoid overcharging to prolong battery life.
  • Turn off the collar when not in use.

2. Turn On/Off the Remote

  • Turn ON: Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the LCD screen lights up.
  • Turn OFF: Press and hold the ON/OFF button again until the screen goes off.

3. Turn On/Off the Receiver Collar

  • Turn ON: Press the ON/OFF button until the green LED light comes on. In standby mode, the green LED flashes every 4 seconds.
  • Turn OFF: Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the red LED turns off (approx. 3 seconds).

4. Fit the Collar

  • Adjust the strap to fit snugly but comfortably on your dog’s neck.
  • You should be able to insert one finger between the collar and the dog’s neck.

Too loose: The collar may rotate, affecting vibration or spray accuracy.

Too tight: May cause breathing difficulty.

5. Pair the Remote and Receiver Collar

  • Turn on the remote.
  • Select Channel 1 (or desired channel) on the remote.
  • Turn off the receiver.
  • Press and hold the receiver’s ON/OFF button for 4–5 seconds until the red & green LEDs blink.
  • On the remote, press and hold the Tone + Tone+Vibration buttons for 2–3 seconds until the green LED on the receiver blinks 5 times.
  • Test by pressing any mode button—if paired successfully, the collar will respond.

6. Function Test

  • Place the receiver in your hand.
  • Use the remote to test Tone or Vibration functions before placing it on your dog.
  • Adjust vibration intensity using the ▲ (increase) or ▼ (decrease) buttons.

  • Delivery: Every UK order ships free by Royal Mail Tracked 48, usually arriving 2–3 working days after dispatch. Need it sooner? Royal Mail Tracked 24 is £4.95, or free on orders of £60 or more (after any discounts), and usually arrives the next working day after dispatch.

The collar offers 1-8 adjustable vibration levels allowing you to choose the right intensity for your dog's size and temperament. It delivers gentle vibrations that provide clear, humane corrections without causing pain, helping your dog associate unwanted barking with the vibration cue.
Is this collar suitable for all dog breeds and sizes?
Yes, the adjustable nylon strap fits a wide range of dog sizes and breeds comfortably. The vibration intensity levels can be customised, making it ideal for small, sensitive dogs as well as larger, more energetic breeds.
Can I train two dogs with one remote control?
Absolutely. There is a variant available for two dogs where a single remote controls two collars independently. This is perfect for owners with multiple dogs who want to manage training efficiently without needing multiple remotes.
Is the collar reliable in wet or muddy outdoor conditions?
The collar receiver is rated IPX7 — tested underwater to 1 metre for 30 minutes — so rain, puddles and a quick dunk in a stream are fine. It is not meant for long swims, so take it off before a proper swim. The remote is not waterproof at all and should stay in your pocket on a wet walk.
What training modes are included and how do they help with obedience?
Three modes: Tone, Vibration, and Tone and Vibration combined. Tone is an audible cue and the lightest option. Vibration runs across eight levels. The combined mode pairs both, which some owners prefer when reinforcing a command during an active session. Which one suits your dog is worth finding out from the lightest end first.

Robust solid unit. Great battery life, the collar could have a little growing room. Seems to work well on our lively bulldog. No real criticism, far better quality than our previous purchases off Amazon.
