How to Use the Spray Collar

(Please fully charge the product before initial use.)

1. Charging the Device

Receiver Low Voltage Alert: The red light flashes five times every 10 seconds when the battery is low.
Remote Low Voltage Alert: The remote’s indicator light flashes five times every 10 seconds, and the battery icon on the display shows only one bar.

Charging Requirements:

Use the included Micro USB cable.
Fully charge before first use (may take up to 2 hours).
Avoid charging near flammable materials.

Charging Indicators:

Receiver: The red light glows while charging, and the blue light flashes when fully charged.

2. Pairing the Remote with the Receiver

(Important: The printed manual contains an error. Follow these corrected steps.)

Turn on the receiver.
Do NOT press and hold the power button as shown in the manual. Instead, lightly tap the power button 3–4 times until the receiver light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
Press the vibration button on the remote.
The receiver will beep or flash to confirm successful pairing.

3. General Use

Select the desired channel (CH1, CH2, CH3) if using multiple receivers.
Adjust vibration or spray level using the + or – buttons.
Always test the spray/vibration level before using it on your dog.

The remote has a stated range of up to 2,700ft (about 820m) in open ground. Trees, walls, buildings and hills shorten the real working range, so check your dog responds at the distance you plan to use before relying on it off-lead.

What training modes are available on this dog collar to manage barking and behaviour?

Four modes — citronella spray, vibration, sound and light — each with three levels. They give you a way to interrupt a behaviour at the moment it happens, which is useful for barking and for things like counter-surfing or chewing when you are there to catch it. The interruption is not the training: what changes behaviour is what you ask for and reward instead. A collar will not help with a dog running off, which is a recall problem and belongs on a lead and a long line until the recall is reliable.

Is the Citronella Spray Stop Barking Collar safe and comfortable for my dog to wear?

The collar uses citronella spray, vibrations, warning sounds and lights. There is no shock and no static. It copes with rain and wet walks, but it is not made to go underwater - take it off before your dog swims.

How long does the battery last on the collar and remote, and how quickly can they be recharged?

Both the collar and the remote are USB rechargeable, quoted at up to 60 days standby and 30 days of working time, and they charge together in about an hour.
